The Roland Park Parent Teacher Association
Roland Park Elementary/Middle School has a proud and strong history of parent involvement. Creating beautiful gardens at the school, building new playgrounds, increasing arts programming, or even spearheading the creation of this website are just a few examples of parents of many talents and diverse backgrounds coming together to make things happen at the school. With such support parents make a real difference in their children’s lives and send a strong message about the value placed on the importance of public education.
Roland Park’s parents’ association is a Parent Teacher Association (“PTA”). The PTA serves as the official liaison between the school and parents. The PTA’s mission is to promote goodwill and understanding within the school community and to enrich the programs and environment of the school.
PTA Meetings
The Executive Board meets the third Monday of every month during the school year. These meetings are open to all parents. In addition, the PTA has at least three general membership meetings throughout the year, which are a great way for parents to stay informed about important school news and PTA initiatives. An agenda is typically set before each meeting to ensure efficient information sharing and discussion about pertinent issues.
The PTA web site lists the date, time, and location of the meetings.
